    When do I need to transfer the A$2.5m to Australia?

    How long do I need to stay in Australia on 188B visa?

    The 888B visa applicant must have lived in Australia for at least 2 of the 3 years immediately before you apply for the 888B visa. Either the husband or wife can be the 888B visa applicant. However, the State must provide State Nomination and they can insist that you are required to hold the Complying Significant Investment for 5 years, as per your commitment to the Department of Home Affairs when you were granted the 188B visa.
