Important information for subclass 888 applicants in Victoria

All Victorian business innovation and investor visa nomination applicants are required to provide genuine personal contact information. You must also inform the Skilled and Business Migration Program of any changes to this contact information. This ensures that the Victorian Government can continue to offer personalised services to business and investor migrants.

The Skilled and Business Migration Program offers support and assistance to business migrants to grow long-term, productive and innovative businesses. This includes inviting migrants to business and investment events, workshops and seminars.

Until 1 July 2021, the Skilled and Business Migration Program will allow subclass 188 visa holders to update their details by completing an online form.  The form is available here  https://liveinmelbourne.vic.gov.au/contact-us/forms/visa/biip-arrived.

All other visa holders, can use the same form to update your details.

From 1 July 2021, the Victorian Government will request evidence that the subclass 888 applicant or their spouse had contacted the Skilled and Business Migration Program within 1-month of arrival in Victoria. If this information has not been provided, the subclass 888 application may be refused.

If you are already JADE’s client for the 888 visa, then you do not need to contact the Victorian Government directly.  Simply let us know when you have arrived in Australia and we will update your contact details with the Victorian Government.

If you would like to become a client of JADE and access our services, please contact us our team frontdesk@jadevisa.com.au.
